Stan Patey
I didn’t start out in IT. I started out in plumbing and heating
With a business degree from UMass Amherst and a love of computers that started with our first IBM desktop, I built the systems for Patey & Company Plumbing and Heating myself: a Novell network, contractor software, and a fax machine before any of our competitors had one. Our vendors weren’t thrilled, but I learned early that the right technology gives a small business an edge. Soon other contractors were calling me for help with their networks. After selling the plumbing company, I started Slingshot in 1997.
I‘ve run a business that depends on its systems, so I know what’s at stake when something goes down. My approach: no surprises, no excuses.
Off the clock, I‘m a husband, father, and proud grandfather. Jean and I tour on our Triumph Tigers, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to Newfoundland, and you’ll find us sailing out of Rockport and skiing at Sunday River.
Adam Harriott
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Adam is a seasoned IT support pro who knows how to keep systems running and people happy. He’s got a sharp eye for troubleshooting, a steady hand in network management, and a real talent for turning tech headaches into smooth solutions.
Driven by a constant thirst for knowledge, Adam stays ahead of the curve in an ever-changing IT landscape. He’s not just solving problems—he’s preventing them.

Jean Patey
Jean keeps Slingshot scaling smart and staying grounded. As our Growth & Finance Director, she brings financial expertise and a no-nonsense approach to strategic planning. Her background spans corporate finance and entrepreneurial ventures, making her a key driver of both stability and momentum.
Jean ensures our growth is measured, intentional, and always aligned with the bigger picture. She’s the go-to for turning forecasts into action and ideas into sustainable results.
Outside the office, Jean’s all about speed and adventure—on skis, motorcycles, sailboats, or a mountain bike. She’s also a wife, mom, and proud grandmother who knows how to juggle it all with grit and good humor.
Sophia Radzim
Sophia is often the first point of contact when tech issues pop up—and she’s built to handle them. As Slingshot’s IT Support & Technology Coordinator, she tackles support requests quickly and calmly, from troubleshooting systems to setting up new gear.
She also manages quotes, orders, and vendor coordination to keep everything running behind the scenes. With a strong background in customer service, she bridges the gap between clients and the engineering team.
Sophia holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in National Security Studies, along with a certificate in criminal investigations. Her sharp eye for detail and problem-solving mindset come through in every task.
Whether she’s resolving a ticket or managing a rollout, Sophia keeps things running smoothly and clients supported.
